Ingredients:
Onion-2 medium sliced
Grind:
Ginger-1" diced small
Garlic -10 cloves
cumin/jeera-1 tsp
asafoetida-a pinch
Cinnamon sticks and cloves-2 each
whole pepper-3 or 4(to taste)
Beef diced-1/2 kg
coriander powder-2 tbsp.
chilli powder-2 tsp(to taste)
Turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
Method:
-Fry the onions till golden brown.
-Add the ground paste, coriander powder and red chilli powder, turmeric and chilli powder.
-Add a few tbspns of water to prevent the powders from sticking to the pan.
-Add the meat and a sprig of curry leaves.Toss it well.Pressure cook for 20 inutes depending on the toughness of your meat.
-Open pressure cooker when steam has released and dry it up.
-Season with mustard seeds.
