Plum Jam biscuits

Ingredients:

Plum jam
250 gms unsalted butter
2 tsp.vanilla essence
11/2 tsp. baking powder
22/3 cups plain flour
caster sugar
300ml sugar

Method:

-Mix butter, cream,vanilla essence and baking powder.
-Add flour slowly to make a soft stretchy dough.
-Knead for about 5 minutes.
-Roll the dough out thinly and cut triangles of about 15cms ,with a knife.
-Top with jam and roll these triangles into little cylindrical shapes.( You can be inventive and make any sape you like at this stage.
-Bake at 200 degrees C till golden.
-Sprinkle or roll in caster sugar while still warm.
