Ingredients
-6 boiled eggs.
-1 onion diced finely.
-1 tomato diced.
-sprig of curry leaves.
-1 tsp.tamarind paste.
Fry in 1 tbsp. oil and grind and keep aside the following:
1 diced clove of garlic
¼ tsp fenugreek
1 Tbsp coriander seeds
1 Tbsp cumin
3-4 red chillies
1 small onion
½ big tomato
Method:
• In 2 tbsp oil, add diced onion curry leaves and tomato. Fry well till the raw smell disappears.
• Add the ground paste and fry till the oil comes up.
• Add tamarind paste in half a glass of warm water to this mixture and cook again. Add salt to taste.
• Slip the eggs in and diced potato if you wish and bring to boil again.
This tastes good with vegetable pulao or chappathis /naan on a cold day accompanied with cucumber salad.
