Mixed vegetable dry fry

This recipe is from my friend Rajee. I am sure you will be able to come up witha few measurements for the ingredients.I will add it on once I make it.Thanks Rajee.
Ingredients:
Brinjal, carrot, potato, capsicum....
Cut them into cubes after washing.
In a pan of oil ( as required ) mustard seeds, jeera and hing....when splutters, add the veggies, turmeric powder.
On the side soak tamarind and jaggery , remove the rind after sometime. When the veggies are cooked, add salt and a little red chilli powderor rasam powder. Further add the tamarind juice.
When ready, add roasted and powdered coriander seeds 1 tsp, red chillies as per taste, bengal gram and urud dal a tsp each, a few curry leaves and powder.
When the veggie is ready sprinkle this powder from top and mix before serving. Excellent.
