Mee Goreng - Indonesian(Sarab Kapoor)
200 gms Dry Noodles –boiled & drained (500 gms if using fresh yellow noodles)
8 Shallots- chopped
3 cloves Garlic- chopped
1 cup Carrot- cut into strips
2 cups Cabbage-shredded
100 gms Bakchoy
¼ Cup Chinese Celery leaves- chopped
11/2 tbsp Indonesian Sweet Soya Sauce- Kechap Manis
1tsp White Pepper Powder
1 tsp Sesame Oil
3 tbsp Cooking Oil
Heat 3 tbsp oil. Fry shallots and garlic. When they start turning brown carrots.
Cook for a few minutes and add cabbage, bakchoy, white pepper powder, sweet sauce and Noodles.
Cook till heated through and mixed well. Garnish with Chinese celery leaves.
